I first visited this freshly decorated restaurant in EL Carmen last Spring, a decision based entirely on the Che inspired sign outside. &lt;/i&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;i&gt;The restaurant is interesting without being overwhelming, with chunky furniture, clean walls, and a rotation of artists pieces adorning the walls; we've seen some twisted Mickey Mouses, and the last delight was Djinn by Ana Miralles (until November).&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;i&gt;As we were with British family members we arrived early to a quiet restaurant, giving us undivided attention, although on subsequent visits when there have been other patrons, we have always been pleased with the level of friendly service. As the worlds most difficult customer, they made sure that whatever I ordered would be within the reins of the allergies and the chefs kept to this promise, for which I am grateful. &lt;/i&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;i&gt;We've now tried both the evening menu (starter, main, desert, coffee, wine and a cheeky digestif came to €130 for 3 people) and the lunchtime menu (starter, main, desert/coffee for €10 each or €13 at weekends). Unlike other places, the lunchtime menu was the same excellent standard as the dinner menu, with well-thought out menus and interesting flavour combinations that not only suited each other, but really worked on exciting and stimulating the tastebuds as well. The food arrived in good time – not so quick as to hear the pings of any microwave, but not so slow that we were left eating our own arms. The desert took the longest, as we would have hoped, given that it was freshly made Tatín de papaya with maracuyá sorbet (€7) - heaven – and well worth the wait.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;i&gt;The menu changes to keep it fresh, with special menus for special calendar events to keep you coming back to try out the new sensations. And if the evening menu of Presa de ibérico – Shoulder of Pork with teriyaki flavoured licorice and salted arnadí (16.00 €) ever returns, I will camp outside the doors on opening night; I have never, with any exaggeration, ever, tasted a meal as delicious as this one. I had it twice just to check. And we've just heard that until 15 November, Refugio will donate €1 to Acción contra el Hambre for every person who visits Sunday-Thursday evenings and orders the menú solidario. The amount raised will go to prevention, diagnosis and treatment of childhood acute malnutrition in the poorest countries in the world.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;i&gt;If you ask for a Bono menú revolutionnary card, and get it stamped on every visit, they also offer the 10th menu for free (or a discount on your dinner), for every ten you have. The advert says Cooking revolution. Después publicó en las revistas Madriz, Cairo, Marca Acme, Blue Press, Marie-Claire, Vogue y Je Bouquine. Su primer álbum, "El brillo de una mirada", con guión de Emilio Ruiz, apareció en blanco y negro en 1990 por Ediciones La General. Poco después, este trabajo fue coloreado y reeditado en España por la Editorial Casset, en Francia por Glénat con el título "Corps à Corps", y en Italia en Blue Press. En 1991 apareció en la editorial Glénat el primer tomo de la trilogía de Eva Medusa "Toi le venin", con guión de Antonio Segura. Los demás títulos: "Toi, le désir" y "Toi, l'amour" se publicaron en 1993 y 1994. Esta serie fue comercializada también en España, Alemania, Holanda y USA. Con Emilio Ruiz adaptó al cómic la novela de Juan Eslava Galán “En busca del unicornio”, una obra premiada en España, Italia y Portugal. La historia se desarrolla en tres álbumes publicados entre 1997 y 1999 por las Ediciones Glénat en Francia y en España. Autora sensible y prolífica, su obra se plasma en una multitud de ilustraciones, postales, portadas de libros y revistas, exposiciones, serigrafías, carteles, publicidad, etc. En 1996 la editorial Midons reunió un conjunto de dibujos en blanco y negro con el título “dossier AM”. Actualmente trabaja en la serie “Djinn” con el guionista Jean Dufaux en Dargaud Benelux, de la cual ya han aparecido diez volúmenes, y con Emilio Ruiz en el proyecto “Muraqqa”, una historia ambientada en la India del siglo XVI. La ciutat va ser intensament bombardejada per aire i per mar, la qual cosa va portar a la construcció de més de dos-cents refugis per a protegir la població. Amb aquest itinerari viurem de primera mà com es van produir els esdeveniments i visitarem els emplaçaments claus durant l'any i mig en què València fou la plaça forta del govern de la República. La ciudad fue intensamente bombardeada por aire y por mar, lo cual obligó a la construcción de más de doscientos refugios para proteger a la población. Con este itinerario viviremos de primera mano cómo se desarrollaron los acontecimientos y visitaremos los emplazamientos claves durante el año y medio en el que Valencia fue la plaza fuerte del gobierno de la República. Como ciudadan@s que apoyamos los valores de Wikileaks, hemos organizado este día especial en el Restaurante Refugio.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;Podrás ayudar a Wikileaks de varias maneras:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;- Comida: desde las 14:00 hasta las 16:00 h., Refugio te ofrecerá su Menú de Mediodía (entrante a elegir, plato principal a elegir y postre) por €12, de los que €2,00 irán a beneficio de esta asociación así como el 50% del precio de las bebidas que consumas.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;- Cena: desde las 21:00 hasta las 23:30 h. podrás degustar un Menú Especial por €25 (primera bebida incluida): €5,00, así como el 50% de las bebidas extra, irán a favor de Wikileaks.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;- Puedes pasarte durante todo el día por el restaurante, tomarte una caña y unas tapas y ofrecer lo que quieras en el &lt;/span&gt;&lt;b&gt;BOX FOR WIKILEAKS&lt;/b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;El aforo tanto para la comida como para la cena está limitado a 40 personas.
